The pub is open from midday to 11pm 7 days a week. We serve many fine drinks in the bar and the snug and have a cobbled beer garden for when the weather is fine.
The Kings Arms has been in the Good Beer Guide for 10 years and we have 6 hand pumps serving a constantly changing range of cask ales, mostly from local breweries. We also serve the fizzy stuff, bottled cider and continental beers.
In 2010 the Kings Arms won the Salford Advertiser Pub of the Year Award. We have been shortlisted for the 2012 MFDF Pub of the Year.
Food is served on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday's we have fish and chips and Sundays we do a great roast and pudding combo.
The Kings Arms has a performance space and bar upstairs which is used for theatre, comedy, gigs, film screenings, poetry nights and fairs.
We are also a meeting place for lots of local groups including our own knitting group - the Kings Knitters, the Salford Friendly Anglers, The Manchester and Salford Ramblers, Make Salford's Meet More Makers nights and the Salford Socialist Workers Party.
The Kings Arms has it's own radio show - The Kings Arms Hour on Salford City Radio 94.4FM every Thursday at 10am.
The Kings Arms houses five small studio spaces which are used by artists and musicians. The studios have a private entrance separate from the pub with communal bathroom and kitchen facilities. Individual studios are lockable and have the original windows, making for great private spaces in which to work. After a long day of being artistic the bar is a short journey away.
