William, a former British serviceman and veteran of Afghanistan is struggling to sleep ever since a fateful day on patrol. Now isolated and alone back home in the country he once swore to serve, a reclusive William hopes to keep his dark secrets hidden from ill-mannered lodger, Justin, and anyone careless enough to stumble upon his intrusive memories. But when Amanda, local crisis centre worker and partner to Justin, seeks to help William for her own furtive reasons, can William bring himself to face his traumatic past and rejoin the world, or will Amanda's efforts push her friend to the point of no return?
A one-act play, this new writing from playwright David Chriscole explores the symptomatology of military combat post-traumatic stress disorder in a story of friendship, grief & hope.
