The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican's Winter Woollies Tour
Hailing from Barnsley Rock City o'er t'other side of the Pennines, the UK's hardest working comedy band, The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican are on a mission! Determined to follow in their spiritual father’s immortal footsteps and keep his legacy alive, they have a talent for Bar-Stewardizing other famous people’s songs with new comedy lyrics, on acoustic geetar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, accordion, keyboard, keytar, and the world's first synthesiser ukulele! To complete their squeaky-clean image, brothers-from-other-mothers Scott, Björn and Alan have become instantly recognisable for their immaculate hair and their stylish choice of knitwear.
A band that is both perpetually on the move and joyously independent, since forming in 2006, they have played over 1000 side-splitting shows to date, and have brought smiles and belly-laughs to audiences across the UK; from Barnsley to Barnstaple, from Glasgow to Glastonbury. They continue to wow audiences with their anarchic live shows and a fine selection of their greatest hits, including the likes of “Jump Ararnd”, “The Lady In Greggs”, "How Deep Is Your Glove?", "Paint 'em Back", "Walking In Manpiss" and “If I Could Punch A Face… It’d Be Justin Bieber’s”.
They are returning to The Kings Arms Theatre on their Sold Out Winter Woollies Tour, and they promise that they will rock you... but gently.

"We are pleased to announce that "Breast In Show" is returning to the Kings Arms due to popular demand for a sequel concert: "Breast In Snow"!Some might say that attempting a follow up concert is a 'slippery slope' but after raising a grand total of over £1,800 earlier this year; it is safe to say that "we came, we 'thaw' and we conquered" and learned that there is 'snow' joke that we won't make in aid of our favourite charity. So please join us for a night of laughs, rude jokes and some exciting surprises as we continue to donate all proceeds to 'Breast Cancer Now'.10 performers. 1 piano. IMPROV MULLET IMPROVISED PANTOMIME SPECIAL
Heroes, villains, songs and shenanigans guaranteed in this brand new pantomime adventure. The comedians don't know which roles they're going to play before the show and will have to craft a brand new pantomime using only your suggestions and a sprinkling of fairy dust. There will be live music and plenty of laughter during this anarchic alternative to the traditional pantomimes. Where Aladdin had his lamp and Cinderella had her glass slipper, the audience give the players a magical mcguffin for our heroes and villains to pursue. The players will then craft an entirely unscripted pantomime with plenty of opportunities for the audience to get involved in the action. You won't see a pantomime like this anywhere else! This show replaces the gang's regular Improv Mullet show but entry is still just £3 or free to anyone with a genuine mullet. This show is *adults only*.Breast In Snow–

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1922 short story. It tells the story of the reverse life of Benjamin Button, who ages backwards - he is born an old man and dies a baby. We follow him through the landmarks of his life, through the chaos of his birth, experiences of love, loss, of war, family - what it is to be a father when you’re growing younger, and a child when your body is old.

Cruelty
Faceless Ventures presents Cruelty: An Artaudian elucidation of our internet obsession
One man’s dream is another man’s nightmare.
We live in a time of instant gratification. Through social and on-demand media, people are transforming into sick and repressed beings. Partnered with Mikey Stuart from The ScareTrack Podcast, Faceless Ventures have created a theatre to rid the audience of their technological subjugation and liberate each individual. There will be no barrier between performer and audience: You will see, feel, smell and taste the uninhibited, raw emotion of what will unfold around you.
“This theatre of cruelty truly immersed the audience in the story and made you question your own use of social media. The show would appeal to anybody who likes to get fully immersed in a concept.
If the show rears its head again I’d highly recommend going to see it and experience for yourself this theatre of cruelty.” – Scare DirectoryAfter our sold out premiere of the show, in a basement venue in Mexborough, we have been encouraged by our reviews and comments to bring the show to a wider audience. Cruelty is a 40 to 45 minute theatre of cruelty, which for those unfamiliar with Antonin Artaud, is designed to shock through gestures, image, sound and lighting. You will be immersed in the performance and encouraged to participate in the action unfolding before you.
“Though Cruelty tackled many aspects of society’s ties to virtual socialisation, it mostly landed on the concept of anonymity and how it can function as a breeding ground for negativity and hate. The idea that we’re somewhat divorced from our actions because we’re physically removed from their impact. What followed made me uncomfortable in the best kind of way.” – Scare Addicts
Using original music, an engaging script and a fabulous new cast, Cruelty will take you on a journey through the looking glass, where the everyday interactions we have online are brought to life and laid bare. Follow The Ringmaster on his descent into the twisted reality of our decisions, where all is not what it seems and the seemingly innocuous can be devastating.
Please note that ‘Cruelty’ is strictly over 18s – The performance contains strong language, nudity and contact between the audience and cast
This performance also features flashing lights and may not be suitable for those suffering from photo-sensitive epilepsy.Skank–

Fifty and Nifty
FIFTY AND NIFTY
By Beverley Green
“Age is NOT just a number”
“Fifty and Nifty” is a coming of age comedy with a difference.
Getting older doesn’t mean you have to put on a cardi, retire to the arm-chair and watch re-runs
from the good old days, and that somehow your knowledge becomes limited and, in some cases,
unwanted. “Fifty and Nifty” self-help group is a countrywide project, its aims to keep men and
women in later life active with classes that will promote self-worth and wellbeing. Marjorie Pardoe
however has other ideas. The self-appointed town matriarch runs the self-help group in her local
town, but the help she gives is a matter of opinion, and the only opinion that matters to Marjorie is
her own. Marjorie’s Group meet weekly, members come and go but Marjorie remains firm in her
beliefs, on how you should behave in later life. Dancing, sex and general fun should be replaced with
reading, needlework and setting out your funeral plan. Her comments are blunt but her tongue is
razor sharp and she takes no prisoners in this awkward but hilarious look at ageism and if you didn’t
know how to act when you came in you certainly will by the time you leave.REMEMBER MAVIS DIXON
By Andrew Husband
“The past is sometimes better left...well in the past.”Andrew Husband writes with great pathos in the story Remember Mavis Dixon, his work will have
you laughing and crying, Roger is happy, well sort of happy, living in his care home then he comes
face to face with someone significant from his past. Someone he’d rather had stayed in the past and
whose existence will cause trouble for his son Roger who might just have a secret of his own. - Fifty and Nifty

Danny and The Deep Blue Sea–
Danny and The Deep Blue Sea
Danny is a trucker who people call The Beast.
Roberta is a troubled young mother with a teenage son that her parents must now raise.
Danny and Roberta butt heads and egos in the Bronx before discovering through each other that there is a space for love in their lives. A dangerous and messy love, but love nonetheless.
Danny and the Deep Blue Sea touches the unspoken parts of our humanity: the violence, insanity, love and hate that can occur in the space between two people.
Writer John Patrick Shanley is an Academy Award winning writer (Best Screenplay, Moonstruck). He was also the recipient of an Obie Award for Playwriting, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding New Play, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and a Tony Award in 2005 for Doubt: A Parable."Confounds expectations and becomes a life-enhancing experience. A pair of stunning performances.." - British Theatre Guide ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

- Woman on Fire
Woman on Fire
'Woman On Fire' is a new, original play by the highly-acclaimed, Certain Curtain Theatre , that takes you into the fiery heart of one of the most dangerous, strange and 'modern-women', in history. By turns, funny, sad, tense and outrageous - but always utterly compelling - 'Woman On Fire' separates the myth from the truth, to leave you amazed...and moved...
The story of Edith Rigby remains largely unsung. Overshadowed by the more vociferous Pankhurst women, Edith nursed a quiet fire. Yet, inside this calm, affable doctor's daughter, raged a flame that burned white-hot - against social injustice and a political system that denied women their most basic human right - the right to be treated as citizens, in their own land - by denying them the right to vote

Madame Chandelier's Rough Guide to the Opera
Whether you love opera, or need to know more so you can pretend you do, Madame Chandelier’s Rough Guide to the Opera is the show for you! Having stolen this great music from the grand opera house, Madame Chandelier, the joyfully ridiculous and self-proclaimed anti-diva of opera, is tearing down the pretence and bringing opera to the people. In a camp fusion of comedy, cabaret and opera, she guides you through her favourite opera plots, with jokes, dramatic death scenes, and a Nessun Dorma sing-along! Real opera is expensive. But Madame Chandelier is cheap. (just wait til you see the costumes)
“Madame Chandelier’s charm and talent makes it entertaining and very funny.” ★★★★ North West End
“Whether you’re a seasoned opera-goer or a complete newbie to the art form, Madame Chandelier’s Rough Guide to the Opera has something for you.” Fest
“Engaging, sharp-witted, brilliant with her audience and a great singing voice, this is a show that emphatically pricks the pretence of opera. Highly recommended for anyone with a sense of humour – Madame Chandelier really does open up opera to all-comers.” Fringe Review
“Brilliantly memorable.” Operissima

A run that saw him frequently getting tangled up in the microphone cable and trying to speak over the incessant drilling from the building site a few doors down and a very loud, high energy comedy show next door.
In this performance he will attempt to recreate some of his Edinburgh show whilst a camera operator records the whole thing in a very cramped pub in Salford.

Falling Stars Theatre Present: 'To Be Or Not To Be? Pergatory Is The Question.'
The scene is set, the story is well known, the outcome for most is death. It started with a son following his father’s instructions; it ended with 10 people dead in Elsinore and families torn apart. This is now the opportunity for recriminations and truth telling.
The scene is Purgatory, the story Hamlet’s. Can he forgive his father for taking advantage of him for his own personal gain? In death the conversation begins, a father, a son and a chance to reflect.
