Norris & Parker: Sirens

Norris & Parker: Sirens
Sirens’ is a fever dream of a sketch show, where we will lure our audience to a watery grave with our hypnotic songs and murderous comedy. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, 1940’s coastal thrillers, Sally Rooney books and Techno, ‘Sirens’ wilI showcase Norris’s three act play ‘The Lighthouse’, which was written in a lockdown delirium. Parker is lucky enough to have a starring role as an ingenue pig and Norris looks forward to leaving the duo to become a serious playwright.
We are Piscean comedy duo Norris & Parker, we share a birthday (26th February) and sometimes a bath and a towel. We have a shared affinity for wine, Chinese takeaways and naked dancing to Kate Bush.

Entertainment Club Presents: Mold Reunion Show
Entertainment club presents MOLD: The final reunion show + guests
Entertainment Club!
After being name-checked by the Guardian as one of the brightest hopes of the Manchester entertainment scene, Entertainment Club is back, by popular demand! Now in the luxurious upstairs theatre of The King's Arms, Entertainment Club returns with a widescreen cabaret format, welcoming not only stand-up comedy but also (though not limited to) avant-garde noise bands, sinewy performance art, and decadent gothic romance. Hosted by Jim John Harkness ('Veering towards a breakdown'- The Guardian) the evening is an experimental space for exploding the confines of genre, where the audience bring no preconceptions and expect nothing from the performers, except, perhaps, a compulsory offering of their shimmering soul. Back from the dead MOLD return for one night only! Come one come all. Hail Satan!

Bad Jokes About Men

Bad Jokes About Men
Brace yourselves Men, this is not one for the faint hearted...
Consumed with worry that she may become a raging man hater, Elise live journals to the
audience using multi-media in hope to understand the blurry boundaries of humour
between men and women. Bad jokes made by men about women have graced our ears
for centuries, so it’s about time that someone takes off the trousers, and puts on the
apron, to confront those toxic gender stigmas and un-tasteful jokes.
This one woman show is a playful eruption of irony and vulnerability taking the audience
on a beautifully chaotic and performative journey, with stop-motion and make-up artistry.
It’s time to sit back, drink a beer, snack on some McCoys or a Yorkie and hopefully have a
good ole giggle!
Straight from Elise’s journal to your ears, this show is a letter From Her, To Him... -
