Calling all writers! BAFTA Award winner Anita Pandolfo gave us a wonderful workshop and advised that one of the best things you can do for your script is to show it to like-minded people, get advice, and find a way to hear your dialogue spoken out loud. So, we have devised a way for you to tick all three of those boxes through our next event:

Collaborative Readthroughs!

Anyone who is interested can send us up to 15 pages of a script that they are working on currently with a short synopsis of the full story, and we will send it out to everyone else involved who has submitted in order for them to read it. Then, we will all come together at The King’s Arms on the 25th of April 2023 to read through each submitted script in turn, working collaboratively to suggest developments and improvements to them. We know it can be scary showing your script to others, but this will be a great opportunity to be in a fun, safe, supportive space to learn and advance your craft no matter what the material and no matter what your experience.

The price of submission is only £10 (in order for us to keep the lights on!), so send in your submissions to northboundprodco@gmail.com whilst you can and don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity.
