Project North

Velvet
Smoke Productions welcomes you to their third new writing event,
‘Project North’. 2 evenings of pieces, each 10-15 minutes long,
showcasing a plethora of emerging Northern artists. The work has been
curated with the view of telling authentic Northern stories, so make
sure you don’t miss what’s going to be an evening of laughing, lamenting
and lunacy!

This is Velvet Smoke Productions sixth production, recipients of the Bread and Roses Emerging Company Award 2021.
Established in December 2020, they love to champion new work and up and
coming artists. This follows a string of sold out four star runs for
their London productions of ‘Disc Jockey’, ‘Project Passion’, ‘Project
Chuckle’, ‘The Fallen Follie’ and ‘Forgotten Fellow’. ‘This is a very promising start to the career of Velvet Smoke Productions. A company worth watching’. – London Pub Theatres.
