Mark and Ange are the best of friends. But when Mark’s love life takes a turn, the duo’s relationship spirals out of control. Set in Ange’s one bedroom apartment atop the local chippy, the temperature begins to rise and relationships start to spiral out of control. Their regular lives of biscuit dunking and gossiping are flipped upside down by a life changing event.
First performed at Greater Manchester Fringe Festival in 2021, to sold out audiences, rave reviews and a slew of award nominations – Sour Milk returns for five night at the Kings Arms, Salford. The original play by Jonathan Mitchell is set against the backdrop of 1980’s Manchester, amidst a turbulent time for the queer community.
